A night of purpose, leadership, and fellowship marked the District 3800 Handover & Induction Ceremony held on July 5, 2025, at the grand ballroom of Solaire North. The event gathered over 500 Rotarians from across the district in a celebration of new beginnings and continued service.

Representing the Rotary Club of Pasig East were GP Angel Gonzales, PP Nitrie Espiritu, PP Amador Llona, PDS Armi Quibael, and PP Reinier Lacsamana, who stood proudly among fellow Rotarians as the district welcomed a new Rotary Year under fresh leadership.

The evening featured Senator Sonny Angara as the keynote speaker. In his address, he acknowledged Rotary’s enduring partnership with the Department of Education, highlighting the contributions of clubs in improving public schools nationwide.

"We may differ in structure, but the spirit of service is the same. We aim for truth, fairness, goodwill, and what benefits all,"

he said, resonating with the very core of the Four-Way Test.

The highlights of the previous year under Governor Bobby Zamora were shown through a reflective AVP presentation. In his heartfelt farewell message, Gov. Bobby shared:

“Our journey has been a story of growth, challenge, and discovery. But there were also obstacles that truly tested our resilience and character. Leadership is not about pleasing everyone—it is about choosing, and having the courage to do what is right and defend the truth even when it is difficult, even when it is lonely. Indeed, it has been a journey.”

Following the ceremonial turnover, Governor Gina Sanchez delivered her inaugural address, officially launching her term with the powerful theme: “Unite for Good.”

“To unite for good is to live beyond ourselves and find strength in each other,” she expressed. “It means choosing to listen, to lead with kindness, and to lift up those who are often left behind. Let’s move from doing everything to doing something that truly matters.”

A Night of Legacy and Leadership: Pasig East Welcomes Good President Angel Gonzales

A key moment of the night was the symbolic transition of club leaderships across the district. For the Rotary Club of Pasig East, Past District Secretary Armi Quibael proudly handed over the bell and gavel—on behalf of Irresistible President Dean Camua—to the newly inducted Good President Angel Gonzales, ushering in a new chapter of service and impact for the club.

The night continued with celebration and fellowship, as Rotarians from all zones reconnected, danced, and shared stories of inspiration and purpose. The energy, unity, and renewed commitment present at the Solaire ballroom that evening signaled a powerful message: District 3800 is ready to serve, lead, and unite for good.
