A day of hope, service, and unity led by the Rotary Club of Pasig East.

The sun had just risen over Sta. Rosa De Lima Parish Church when volunteers in blue Rotary shirts began setting up tables, medical stations, and registration booths. The air was alive with the hum of quiet anticipation. It was September 21, 2025—the day the Rotary Club of Pasig East would once again turn compassion into action.

One by one, people arrived—teachers, parish members, employees from nearby offices, and even first-time donors who had heard about the drive from friends. Each came with their own reason, but all shared the same intention: to give.

Inside the parish hall, nurses from Unihealth Sta. Rosa carefully checked blood pressure and hemoglobin levels, while volunteers handed out forms and refreshments. The process moved with calm efficiency, but the spirit in the room was electric. Every few minutes, another donor stood up, a small bandage on their arm, smiling quietly—knowing they had just done something that truly mattered.

By midday, the numbers began to climb.145 registered. 125 qualified. In one afternoon, 125 bags of blood filled the collection tables. Each one—precious, needed, and destined to save a life. The final count revealed an 86% success rate, the highest in the club’s blood donation history.

For the Rotary Club of Pasig East, this wasn’t just an event. It was a living testament to the organization’s purpose—to serve, to uplift, to act. The initiative reflected Rotary’s key areas of focus: Disease Prevention and Treatment, Saving Mothers and Children, and Supporting Community Health.

The day flowed seamlessly, thanks to the combined effort of RCPE members, Sta. Rosa De Lima Parish, the Holy Name Society, and an entire network of partners who stood shoulder to shoulder for one mission.

Special thanks to:Serving Hearts, Holy Name Society, Sta. Rosa De Lima Parish, Unihealth Sta. Rosa, LGU Pasig City, Congressman Roman Romulo, Councillor Eric Gonzales, LGU Brgy. Bagong Ilog, PCG Batch '86, Tsiskelio Government Pasig, Tau Gamma Phi, Universal Robina, and Eurocare Pharma Inc.

As the sun began to set, the last donor walked out of the hall, greeted by applause from the volunteers. There was no grand celebration, no loud announcement—only a quiet sense of fulfillment. In that single day, 125 lives were given another chance, and a community was reminded of the power that lies in collective kindness.

This is what service looks like in motion. No spotlight, no stage—just people, purpose, and a promise kept.

The Rotary Club of Pasig East invites everyone to be part of next year’s drive.Because when hearts come together, life itself finds renewal.
