Zone 6 Clubs Unite for the Environment
On August 31, 2025, Rotary fellowship reached new heights—literally—as Zone 6 clubs of District 3800 came together for Plant a Tree for Good, an environmental project hosted by the Rotary Club of Dela Paz Marcos High under the leadership of Good President Romeo Evangelista.

Representatives from various Zone 6 clubs—RC Pasig Premier, RC Pasig Central, RC Pasig West, RC Pasig North, RC Pasig East, and RC Pasig Sunrise—climbed up the mountain at Purok Canumay, Sitio San Ysiro, Brgy. San Jose, Antipolo City with one shared mission: to care for our environment through tree planting.

The Rotary Club of Pasig East (RCPE) was proudly represented by Rtn. Marie Criselda Basilio and spouse Romel Flores, Past President Mon Canales, and President Angel Gonzales. Together with fellow Rotarians, they planted seedlings that will one day grow into a greener, stronger environment for the generations to come.

The event was not only about service but also about camaraderie. After the tree planting, participants gathered for a traditional Filipino “Budol Fight”—a joyful feast where everyone ate together by hand from banana leaves. This unique tradition reminded everyone that just like in service, true fellowship happens when we come together as equals, sharing food, laughter, and purpose.
The day ended with smiles, muddy shoes, and hearts filled with pride—knowing that each tree planted is a symbol of Rotary’s enduring commitment to sustainability, community, and the future.
