RCPE Captures Unity and Identity at Its 3rd Club Meeting Photoshoot
In Rotary, every act of service tells a story — and sometimes, a photograph is the most enduring way to tell it.

On July 17, 2025, the Rotary Club of Pasig East convened at Valle Verde Country Club not for a regular business agenda, but for something just as significant: a club photoshoot. Far from a vanity project, the session was a celebration of unity, identity, and public image — all central to Rotary’s mission of connecting people of action to the world.

Rotarians came dressed in signature green vests, White RCPE Poloshirt & Black Coats each wearing the emblem of Rotary with pride. But it wasn’t just the coordinated colors that brought cohesion to the group — it was the spirit of fellowship, purpose, and shared responsibility that made each image powerful.

At the heart of this effort was Rotarian Hyson Hilario, an RCPE member and accomplished professional photographer, whose lens has quietly chronicled RCPE’s journey over the years. From community outreach to ceremonial milestones, Rtn. Hilario has offered his time and talent selflessly — embodying the ideal of Service Above Self not only through action, but through art.
“Rotary is not only about doing good in the world — it’s about being seen doing good, so that others may be inspired to join,” said President Angel Gonzales. “This photoshoot helps us preserve our legacy while inviting others into the story.”
Beyond public image, the photoshoot holds personal value. It is a visual time capsule — especially meaningful for new members taking part in their first club photo, and for long-time Rotarians who see not just faces, but years of shared service and success.

As President Angel Gonzales puts it,
“This is our moment in time. These photos will outlive the projects and paperwork. One day, we’ll look back and see the legacy we’ve built together.”
A Rotary Family, Framed

The shoot also brought members closer. With green vests freshly pressed and Rotary pins proudly displayed, laughter and conversations filled the room. Members adjusted each other’s collars and posed shoulder-to-shoulder — not just for a photo, but as a show of unity. In Rotary, moments like this remind us that service thrives when fellowship is strong.
In today’s image-driven world, visibility plays a crucial role in public engagement. A well-documented Rotary club reflects strength, vitality, and professionalism — values that attract new members, partners, and support. These photographs will serve as tools for storytelling, promotion, and recruitment, while also becoming a part of RCPE’s visual history.
Yet beyond public image, the value of the moment lies in its meaning to the members themselves. For seasoned Rotarians, it’s a marker of service and time. For new members, it’s an initiation into a community that honors inclusion and identity. And for the club as a whole, it’s a frame that holds more than a smile — it holds purpose.
In Rotary, we often measure our success by impact. But we also treasure the moments that remind us who we are when we serve together. Thanks to Rtn. Hilario’s generous contribution, the Rotary Club of Pasig East now has portraits that capture not just people — but commitment, connection, and the power of a shared mission. Because in Rotary, even a photograph can move the world.
